Rooted in our soil, growing a greener tomorrow
Karisakattu Poove Trust (Karisa Kattu Poove) is an environmental and social welfare NGO in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. We began with a simple belief — that the barren, sun-baked lands around Hosur could bloom again. Today we plant trees, grow Miyawaki forests, conserve water and revive ponds, bringing together volunteers, farmers, schools and companies to restore nature and uplift communities across Krishnagiri district.

To restore degraded land into thriving green ecosystems while empowering rural families through education, water security and livelihoods.

2019
Our First Miyawaki Forest
Planted our very first 1,000-sapling Miyawaki forest at Chennathur Panchayat, Hosur.
2021
A Forest in Memory
Created an 800-sapling forest at Bedrapalli Lake in memory of those lost to COVID-19.
2022
Government & CSR Join In
Partnered the TN Govt Mamaku scheme (5,000 saplings) and CSR leaders SSF Plastic, Global Calcium & CREDAI.
